African Grandis

In the Central African highlands, large old growth Eucalyptus Grandis forests are found. These trees soar to 60 metres in height. It is from these plantations, that the raw material is cut for our African Grandis range of products.

The timber is cut and sawn into standard lumber sizes. Stacked and air dried for a minimum of 3 months to ensure that the timber is properly destressed and stabilised, before it is kiln dried to around 10% moisture content.

The African Grandis range of products consists of doors, decking, flooring and other mouldings, manufactured from this beautiful plantation grown, renewable timber resource.
African Pine

The African Pine range of products, is produced from plantation grown pine (mainly Pinus Patula and Pinus Elliotti) grown in the moist highlands of central Africa. These plantations are all renewable and are Forestry Stewardship Council (F.S.C) registered and compliant.

All timber used in the manufacture of these products is cut and kiln dried (to 8 - 10% moisture content) in modern sawmills.

The African Pine range, consists of doors, decking, flooring, laminated shelving and other general mouldings, produced in a modern state of the art factory in Mutare, the main city in the eastern Highlands

African Exotics

The African Exotics range of products is made from timber sourced in various parts of tropical Africa and manufactured in factories to quality standards of the highest order.

We only deal with large reputable companies that we know are managing their concessions on a sustainable basis.

We believe a front door is more than just a door. A front door is the entrance to a person's home and therefore says something about the people who live in that home.

We therefore not only keep a standard range of hardwood doors but will manufacture to your design and specification should you so desire.

The African exotics range of products can be made from the following high grade tropical hardwoods;

Zambezi Teak (Baikiaea Plurijuga)
Kiaat (Ptrerocarpus Angolensis)
Chamfuta (Afzelia Auanzensis)
African Mahogany (Khaya Ivorensis)
Panga Panga (Millettia Stuhlmannii)
